Currently, STDDB compiles 919 plants, 10262 phytochemicals, 12 pathogens, and 58 therapeutic targets from these pathogens with their scientific information at the molecular level with proper reference. Apart from that 17 physicochemical properties, 13 medicinal chemistry properties, 23 ADME properties, 27 toxicity endpoints, and 8 toxicophore rules have been predicted for the phytochemicals. Go through the Explore section for a detailed search. In the Downloads section, you may download the 3D structure of all the phytochemicals with a click, or you can even obtain disease-specific. A structured dataset with accurate phytochemical structure can be a valuable tool for in silico drug design and identifying therapeutic compounds from medicinal plants. Computer-aided drug design (CADD), pharmacophore modeling, molecular docking, quantitative structure-activity/property connections, and other computational tools are increasingly used in drug discovery and development. Providing public access to SDTDB can be used as a gem to embellish the scepter of rational drug design. You can also checkout Documentation section for How to use STDDB

Welcome to our STD Database – a groundbreaking initiative at the intersection of medicine, botany, and data science. In the face of rising concerns surrounding sexually transmitted infections (STIs), our platform emerges as a beacon of knowledge, weaving together a tapestry of plant-derived phytochemicals and therapeutic targets. We recognize the urgent need for a holistic understanding of STIs and believe that nature holds the key to innovative solutions with its vast repository of compounds. Our database is a testament to the power of interdisciplinary collaboration, where the medicinal properties of plants converge with modern therapeutic targets.
Our platform is designed to catalog these valuable phytochemicals and provide insights into their potential therapeutic uses and benefits. The integration of advanced computational tools allows researchers to predict and assess the efficacy of various plant-derived compounds, paving the way for novel treatments. Furthermore, we provide a user-friendly interface that encourages both seasoned researchers and new learners to navigate through our extensive dataset, fostering a deeper understanding of plant-based interventions.
By bridging the gap between traditional knowledge and cutting-edge research, we aim to inspire the development of groundbreaking therapeutics. Our goal is not only to provide a comprehensive repository of information but to inspire new avenues for research and discovery in the realm of STI prevention and treatment. Join us as we explore the rich world of phytochemicals, unlocking their potential to shape a healthier future.
